Outreach and PAs

Outreach & PAs Outreach

Outreach support works to enable people to live in their own homes or with their families and to actively engage in the community where they live, attending college, working and developing leisure activities. Outreach support hours depend on the client’s wishes and budget. The support is based around social inclusion, which includes supporting people into voluntary/paid employment, education, friendships and holidays.

Support must be a minimum of 3 hours per session.

We can support people in all areas of their lives including:

• Personal care needs
• Domestic tasks
• Budgeting & money management
• Help with finding housing
• Training & skills development
• Support to find a job or voluntary work
• Community activities, leisure & socialising
• Healthcare needs
• Mental wellbeing

‘P.A.’s R US’ through Spectrum Social Care: Here at Spectrum Social Care we understand that employing and managing Personal Assistants can be a daunting prospect for some people, and we recognise that Personal Assistants often bring a great deal of support and flexibility to people and their lives.
If you would like to recruit and employ Personal Assistants we can provide a service to help. We have a pool of Personal Assistants with a vast range of skills and availability. We can introduce you to Personal Assistants from our pool or we can recruit someone whom you have already chosen on your behalf.

You can choose to employ a Personal Assistant (P.A.) from our pool and manage them yourself and undertake all of the paperwork such as time sheets and audits or you can ask us to oversee every aspect of your P.A.’s employment.
